iPhone 17 Launch in India: Key Dates & Highlights

 

Apple will reveal new iPhone series featuring four variants: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max on September 9 during the “Awe Dropping” event.

Pre-Order in India is expected to begin on September 12 and in-store availability is expeceted to start from September 19.

 

 

Should you upgrade or hold off?

• iPhone 17 is rumoured to have similar design to iPhone16 but built with new faster A19 Chip, 120Hz OLED display and a 24 MP front camera.
• iPhone 17 Air is an ultra thin variant with 5.5mm thickness, 6.6 inch OLED display, and a single 48 MP rear camera. It replaces the “Plus” variant and expected to cost around ₹99,990.
• Pro and Pro Max major upgrades are the A19 pro Chip, Redesigned horizontal camera modules, Enhanced brightness and battery life plus better thermal performances for videographers and gamers.

 

**Should you wait?** Analysts say yes because if you wait now it could get you better value, big upgrades or allow price drops on current models.
